Teaching Philosophy

Movement is an integral part of our human experience. From the depths of our cells to our outward expressions, movement in our bodies. It is with this understanding that I honor dance and yoga practices, encouraging students to listen to the needs of their limbs.

Dance:

As a dance educator, my concerns lie in educating students to become physically intelligent and culturally connected to their movement. Encouraging students to access the ways they find joy, love and connection through dance. Value

From a somatic movement approach, I aim to create experiences for each student that allows them to access their most true self.

Accessing the way their bodies feel safe, joy and love in movement is the most important aspect to the work. With
