Miryam Johnson presents excerpts from “REBELLION”, a dynamic dance, choreo-poem centered around the 50 year anniversary of the '67 Detroit Rebellion. “REBELLION” investigates the frustration, strength and resilience that has come with generations of continued rebellions in the Black Community.

Youth Dance Series | Fall 25

The Youth Dance Series are drop-in based workshops for rising dance artists interested in sharpening their dance and movement training. These workshops are supplemental dance training and not meant to replace weekly technique classes.

  • Beginner Classes | Ages 10 - 13

  • Intermediate/Advanced Classes | 14 and up

Suggested Donation | $15 - $25/session

Required Attire

  • Nov. 12th | Contemporary Jazz: Leotard or fitted tank top, leggings or tights and jazz shoes. (No loose fitted clothing will be permitted after warm-up)

  • Nov. 19th | Dancer Strength and Stretch: Fitted exercise clothing
